Executive cum Trainer
Job Purpose:
- Coordinate and assist in various aspects of training operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality training programs to clients.
- Among key responsibilities are internal and external trainer management, provide support in of Halal Professional Board (HPB) and HRD Corp’s operations and assessment, and overseeing the development of training module and materials.
Key tasks and activities:
A. Internal Trainer
- Responsible for designing and delivering training sessions to HTl’s clients
- Ensure that training content reflects the latest developments and changes in Halal certification requirements and industry best practices.
B. Internal & External Trainer Management
- Coordinate the selection, onboarding, and scheduling of internal and external trainers for client engagements.
- Maintain internal and external trainer accounts and profiles, ensuring accurate records of qualifications. certifications, and performance evaluations.
C. Training Operation
- Assist in training evaluation tasks, which involve gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders to evaluate program efficacy and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Provide support in conducting program assessments for HPB and HRD Corp initiatives, managing scheduling, administration, and marking procedures.Generate reports and analyze data related to training activities, participant feedback, and program effectiveness to inform decision-making and strategic planning
D. Training Materials Development
- Oversee the development and maintenance of training materials, including presentations, handouts, and multimedia resources.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and trainer to ensure training materials are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with learning objectives.
Requirements (Minimum qualifications and experience):
- Bachelor Degree in Food Science and Technology, Halal Management, or Business studies
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Trainer and/or relevant working experience in the halal industry.
- Trainer-the-trainer (TTT) certificate (HRD Corp)
- Certified Halal Executive (HPB)
Competencies / Skills (Technical knowledge and expertise):
- Experience in delivering training on Halal principles and practices to employees, management teams, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in understanding and explaining the process of obtaining Halal standard and certification. including the documentation required, audit procedures, and compliance with Halal standards and regulations
