MALAYSIA GLOBAL HALAL SHOW (MGHS) PROGRAMME
The Malaysia Global Halal Show (MGHS) Programme is an international market development initiative led by Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC) to strengthen the global presence of Malaysian halal products and services through strategic trade promotion platforms in selected markets.
Designed to support the internationalisation of Malaysian halal exporters, the programme facilitates participation in leading global trade exhibitions, business matching sessions, networking engagements, market outlook initiatives, pre-event market knowledge enrichment, and promotional activities across both traditional and emerging halal markets.
Through the MGHS Programme, participating companies are provided with opportunities to:
- Expand market access and export potential;
- Establish international business networks and partnerships;
- Enhance global brand visibility and positioning;
- Explore new and emerging halal market opportunities;

Under the MGHS Programme, HDC collaborates with key agencies including MATRADE, JAKIM, and MIDA to promote Malaysia’s halal ecosystem through a unified national branding approach. The MGHS Programme covers participation in various international trade exhibitions and halal-focused platforms across regions including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Latin America, in line with Malaysia’s aspiration to further expand its footprint in the global halal economy.
