Job Title Assistant Manager, Talent Development
Department/Division Capacity Development Department
Reports To Senior Manager, Capacity Development Department
Job Purpose: 

  • To support the implementation of Halal talent development initiatives under the Industry Lead Body (ILB) mandate by coordinating industry-focused human capital development programmes and stakeholder engagements in alignment with HIMP2030 and relevant national policies.
Key Tasks and Activities:

  • Coordinate the execution of TVET and human capital development initiatives under the Sistem Persijilan Kemahiran Malaysia (SPKM), ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Facilitate implementation of interventions under the Halal Community of Practice (HCoP) Framework, including competency development, talent recognition pathways, and industry–academia collaboration initiatives.
  • Coordinate the development, review, and refinement of competency standards, occupational frameworks, and related documentation.
  • Manage engagements and collaborative initiatives with ministries, universities, TVET institutions, industry players, subject matter experts, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, deliverables, and budget utilisation, and prepare reports and governance documentation for management review.
  • Identify implementation risks, operational gaps, improvement opportunities, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, briefing materials, and strategic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management in line with the role and organisational requirements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in project management, ideally related to human capital development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title RECEPTIONIST
Department/Division ADMINISTRATION
Reports to SENIOR MANAGER / MANAGER – ADMINISTRATION
KEY TASKS AND ACTIVITIES

  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the reception desk and area
  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls, take and relay messages and provide information to callers
  • Greetings of guest/visitors entering organization, direct and guide visitors to correct destination
  • Dealing with enquiries from the public and customers
  • Monitor staff movements in and out of the organization
  • Ensuring conducive and presentable reception lobby
  • Manage all incoming fax documents – via online fax distribution
  • Assist in food and beverage arrangements for meeting. Coordinating with pantry staff.
  • Assist in handling meeting room requests and allocation
  • General administrative and clerical support
  • Assist in recording and distribution of all incoming correspondence by hand and by post.
  • Assist in handling courier services arrangement (document/parcel)
  • Assist in receiving and sorting in-bound and out-bound mails
  • Any other roles and duties are assigned from time to time.


REQUIREMENTS (Minimum)

  • SPM or Diploma
  • 2 to 3 years’ working experience handling calls and customers
