How to Apply for Our HSPP Facilitation Program?

  1. Click one application form based on your preferred facilitation scope (from the three options available). Note: The ESG scope is mandatory for all companies selected.
  2. Fill in the required information from the application form and upload all the relevant documents.
  3. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their pitch (details of the pitching presentation will be emailed to the shortlisted applicants).
  4. Successful applicants will receive an offer letter and agreement from HDC via email.
  5. The signed offer letter, agreement, and receipt of the commitment fee must be submitted via email to HDC within two weeks of receiving the softcopy documents. (Failure to do so may result in withdrawal from the program)

Note: Each company is allowed to apply for only ONE (1) scope of facilitation.

1. International Certification (GMP/HACCP/ISO22000) Facilitation

We’re offering SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) a unique opportunity to receive international certifications – HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) OR ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System). These globally recognized standards can elevate your business by ensuring food safety, improving your brand’s reputation, and opening doors to international markets.

Our facilitation includes free consultations throughout the entire process, from application to certification. This means you get expert guidance every step of the way, without any cost to you!

4. Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Training (Complimentary training for the HSPP recipients)

This initial facilitation phase is designed to equip SMEs with foundational knowledge and practical tools in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Conducted as a 2-day physical training by an appointed ESG Service Provider, the programme introduces participants to core ESG concepts and benefits, highlighting how sustainable and ethical practices can enhance long-term business value and resilience.

Key Objectives of the ESG Awareness Training:

  1. Understanding ESG Fundamentals
    Gain a clear overview of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and their impact on business operations, compliance, and investor expectations.
  1. Exploring ESG Benefits for SMEs
    Understand how ESG adoption enhances brand reputation, builds stakeholder trust, and creates new market opportunities.
  1. Basic ESG Reporting Guidance
    Learn how to prepare a simple ESG report, including key metrics, standards, and data collection methods.

    Receive actionable guidance and examples to help SMEs adopt ESG practices effectively.

This ESG Awareness Training is a mandatory requirement for all recipients of this program, ensuring that each participating company develops a strong understanding of ESG principles. This foundational training will prepare companies to embed ESG considerations into their operations and strategies, setting the stage for further development in sustainable practices.

  1. Is there a fee to participate in this facilitation?
    The facilitation is fully funded by HDC. However, a non-refundable commitment fee of RM1,080 (inclusive of SST) is required from participants.
  2. Is this programme a grant?
    No, this programme is not a grant. Support is provided through facilitation and expert guidance. No direct funding is given to companies, as payments are made directly to HDC’s appointed service providers.
  3. Can I participate in more than one facilitation scope?
    Each SME may select only one facilitation scope per year, for a maximum of two years. This means companies can participate in two different scopes across two separate years.
  4. What is the duration of the facilitation?
    The duration varies depending on the selected scope. Participants are required to follow the assigned timeline. Failure to do so without valid justification may result in withdrawal from the programme and possible penalties.
  5. Can the facilitation be transferred to another company?
    No, the facilitation is non-transferable and must be undertaken by the registered company stated in the application and agreement.
  6. Can I change the appointed service provider?
    No, each facilitation has a designated service provider appointed by HDC to ensure consistent and effective delivery.
  7. Who are the service providers?
    Service providers are appointed by HDC and consist of qualified experts responsible for delivering training, advisory, and implementation support throughout the programme.
  8. How is the support provided under this programme?
    Support is delivered through structured facilitation, including training, advisory, and hands-on implementation support by appointed service providers.
