HALAL TALENT RECOGNITION
Introduction:
Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC), as the Industry Lead Body (ILB) of the Halal Industry, is officially appointed by the Ministry of Human Resources through the Department of Skills Development Malaysia (DSD). HDC plays a key role in providing feedback on industry needs, fostering collaboration, and advance skilled human capital development through the Malaysian Skills Certification System (SPKM)
Roles of ILB-HDC:
- Promoting skills recognition for industry workers through the Recognition of Prior Achievement (PPT)
- Facilitating the registration of eligible candidates for SKM-PPT in JPK’s MySPIKE system
- Organizing engagement and assessment sessions between candidates with Pengawai Pengesah Luaran (PPL)
Program Objectives
- To facilitate industry players in obtaining the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) through the PPT pathway
- To enhance the professional recognition of skilled workers within the Halal industry
- To strengthen the competency level and overall quality of the Halal workforce in Malaysia

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must fulfil the following requirements:
- Possess a minimum of three (3) years of working experience in the Halal industry
- Relevant Halal-related experience must be supported by official documentation
- Submit employment verification letters from current and previous employers (Letter of Employment Confirmation)
- Demonstrate commitment to completing the required portfolio within the stipulated timeframe
Program Fees
- Program registration via MySPIKE: RM300 per candidate
- NOSS (softcopy): RM20
Note: No refund will be provided if the candidate withdraws from or discontinues participation at any stage of the program.

The allocated duration for portfolio completion is three (3) months, commencing from the date of payment.
No. This program does not require candidates to attend any classes or formal training. However, candidates may need to attend briefing, engagement sessions, or assessment sessions if required.
The registration fee for this program is RM300 per candidate, subject to prevailing terms and conditions.
No. There is no funding provided by JPK or HDC. All related costs must be borne by the candidate.
